Ogmore welcomes back the Pelican pub

The refurbishment of the Pelican was revealed when the doors opened for business on Friday 2nd June.

The new Landlord, Andy Aston, welcomes you all to his new pub and we wish him well. Andy's other pub, the Longhouse, formally the Treherne Arms on The Tumble, near Culverhouse Cross, has received excellent reviews for its food and ambiance. Andy opened the Longhouse in October 2016, following great success at businesses such as Woods Brasserie, Cardiff Bay & more recently running The Kings Arms, Pentyrch.

The Pelican is ideally situated overlooking Ogmore Castle near the stepping stones crossing the River Ogmore.

The photo on the left shows the picturesque view from the pub. Great to sit outside on a sunny day and watch the world (and horses) go by!
